Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?
Then there's how much you can push an engine that already has a bunch of miles on it. Adding power stresses the engine, and power from a cheap chip (as opposed to remapping the ECU) may not be the best way to go. Remember, you get what you pay for.
I have the Aero springs and shocks on my '96 CSE and the SAS bars. And it has the ECU out of a '98 5-speed. So it really only lacks the TD-04 turbo. And while the extra poke of the bigger turbo would be nice, the car is plenty quick.
I care more about handling than speed because you can enjoy great handling all the time, but in most of the U.S. opportunities to really use the speed and power are limited. The suspension I have does all I need.
However, if I get this car back from my daughter (who has it on loan at the moment) I may buy, rebuild and install a more potent engine. That would have the 3" exhaust and a Stage 3 tune to get it up around 300 or so HP. But I'm not messing with an engine that already has 180K miles on it.
Just my 2 cents.
