That is a good point however lots of these Saab application TD04HL-15T's I upgrade to a 19T do have a 2mm by 6mm long alignment pin in the turbine housing! I feel it's better to assume there's one there so someone doesn't try to re-clock their housing with force if the dowel pin is used in their particular application. Also this connection won't necessarily rotate (without force) with the band clamp loose even if there is no dowel present so it's better to know for sure before trying to reposition the exhaust housing for clearance issues like weston is wanting to do. Also "the turbine clocking" is not limited by the oil and water lines as they attach to the bearing housing not the turbine housing.
