Buy her "Something" reliable , Scince '84 I've been through 'several' saabs.
Prior to that I was 'big' into Jaguars. Even restoring to Museum Quality a '53 XK120 Coupe Jaguar. Sold it and paid off my Mortgage :-)
Owned Loutii for almost 15 years. Good performance unbelievably poor build qualities (no surprise there tho) but the real deal breaker was the realising that the Lug Nuts on a Bus were at eye level. Fellow I sold my Europa to, killed himself in it within 2 weeks of ownership. Life is Tough, and if stupid Doubly Tough.
Wife bought a new C900 in 84.. she soon hated the thing after it 'stranded her and a carload of toddlers 'Hours' away from home on 3! separate ocaissions. She (not surprisingly) hates Saabs and still ..Will Not.. ride in mine beyond 'Taxi Home' radius.
Out of desperation she bought an Acura.. now on her third one in 25 years. Not One of those has cost us more than $10 in unexpected repairs
(a single failed headlight bulb.. true)
Much as I love my Saab.. Although it's in constant need of repairs/$$ car. It squeeks, rattles like an Ox Cart compared to the wifes' TL and it's performance is actually LESS (without any question of a doubt the Saab handling is grossly inferior) power is even iffy, despite my ECU reflash/tune efforts.
Saab time is OVER my friend.. it's seemingly past time for us old dinosaur infatuated guys to move on.
