Yikes, that's a lot of deformation! I've never had that issue either on the rails or the front jack point (though i don't live in a rust area). I do use a small block of wood on the sides to make sure the load is spread over the entire factory jack pad, and a larger piece of wood on the front. I also use where the control arms attach to the body without issues.
As for ramps, try Rhino Ramps. Far better than the cheapy steel ones and it's not possible for them to collapse like steel.
