A common scenario : Pedal goes to the floor, Saab shop replaces the Master cyl, about a year + - later the symptom reappears.
Dunno if one follows the other. But it's a fairly common sequence.
Purely Coincidental ??
But the result is certainly unambiguous: new slave time, along with the collateral damage 'Clutch Job' ..$$
Sometimes the Slave only weeps, enough to fail under pressure but not enough to immediately leave pee on the garage floor :-)
