Perry and all of us are experiencing the "What now? I just fixed the darn thing." syndrome.
What I think people are noticing is a truism: EVERYTHING happens after something else, always and forever, in all things.
Post hoc ergo propter hoc is a fallacy that has long been warned against. Just because it happens after something else doesn't mean the thing that just happened caused it.
The parts are old and are failing from age. There's no greater force put on a slave, or a master cylinder, by its corresponding cylinder whether a working-but-about-to-fail older cylinder or a brand new replacement. That force is the release pressure of the pressure plate springs.
And anything stirred up in the hydraulic fluid by bleeding out of old is not very likely to cause any trouble either. The stuff barely moves, and that black fluid is just as effective as fresh at pushing.
