I've stored my 9k for several periods ranging from 3-7 months in the time I've had it. Agreed that 3.5 months ain't no thing. You could just disconnect the battery, reconnect in the spring and be on your way. However, I do like to go a little further personally:
-Full tank with Stabil to be cautious (I've had non-treated gas go bad, but it was 6+ months, near empty tank, and it just resulted in a slight hesitation, so even this is probably overkill)
-Give the car a good run until it's nice and hot and pull the fuel pump fuse until the engine dies to get as much fuel out of the system as possible. Also puts you in a good position to crank it up with no fuel to build oil pressure in the spring.
-I've never had flat spotting, but I do inflate my tires to their max side wall pressure before storage
-Disconnect the battery (and charge it before restarting, especially if you plan to crank it for a while to build up oil pressure)
-I wouldn't worry about changing oil in the spring if you just did it. It won't contaminate itself and any water will burn off anyway. Probably slightly better to change it before storage as you've done.
-Great time to flush the coolant and brake fluid if you're due. I also find it a good time to slather on some leather conditioner.
-Your rodent prevention sounds like a good idea (don't really have that issue where I am)
