I expected about 2 months for repair Posted by JerseySaab [Email] (#666) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JerseySaab) on Wed, 29 Feb 2012 06:32:41 In Reply to: Re: Mine's at SaabRadio, tfreund289 [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 28 Feb 2012 22:44:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
From reading past posts about two months or so turnaround time is about what I expected sending the unit to SaabRadio, and I'm fine with that. In the meantime I've been using a thrift store boom box in the passenger seat.
I was going to temporarily install a generic radio but fuel pump problems took priority, and at this point I'm not going to bother since hopefully it should only be another few weeks before I get the original radio back. (Car is *still* off the road due to no turn signals, the flasher relay, which was giving sporadic problems, seems to have now given up the ghost completely. Resoldering didn't help, so a new replacement is on the way...)
In any event I am very much looking forward to having the factory radio back in working order!
