Car has been operating at base boost for a while, but I didn't care too much during the winter - now time to do something about it.

What about higher resistance? I am seeing "infinite resistance" on two different meters when performing this test - does this indicate a problem? Center connector to battery ground gives a reading of a few hundred Ohms (changes, seems to indicate that a capacitor is charging?).
