Well, there is an amazing difference, but I know it's not to everyone's liking. There is more vibration and firmness, which some days I can definitely do without, especially on some of our less than well-surfaced roads here in New England. On the other hand, the crispness in the steering and handling are really nice. The car's getting a little old for track days since it's my primary car, but I might do one this summer just to enjoy the harder bits at speed.
Of course, the change on my car is dramatic: I went from a car with worn out lower mounts and control arm bushes to one with new ones that are also harder, so the difference is enormous. This car also has SAS bars (that I know you don't agree with) and the Aero chassis, so it is definitely different than my other '96 which is stock. The stocker is a bit more relaxing to drive, but it also feels more laid back. Both are good!
