New DI cassette - increased fuel economy

Fyi........I ran my 97 CS with an existing (original) DI unit since 2005 with consistent plug gapping adjusts and dielectric grease. During a very hot week a couple wks ago here in NE the DI finally died. I recently picked up a junkyard 99 9-3 used DI unit and installed it, putting my spare back in the trunk. Well right away I noticed my idle a bit smoother and the highway mpg-us went up from 29-30 to 32-33 mpg.
Also, fyi, I removed the black shroud from the back of the new-used DI and it is not possible to see the level of transformer oil - must be because its a newer unit than the red DI's I've had in the past (appears much less likely to leak oil).
