Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. There are two lines associated with each of the front calipers, one for pressure and one for return from the solenoid valves. A single line goes to the rear of the car, where a simple T-connection splits out the rear brake pressure to the two calipers. At a minimum,you will have to run a second line to the back of the car, plug one side of the T-connection, and connect the new line to the line unhooked from the T. On the front, you will have to trace the lines to figure out which is the pressure line.
Since none of the existing brake lines will match up with the new master cylinder, you might find it easier(?) to run all new hard lines from master out to each caliper. Perhaps scavenge the existing lines from a 1987?
