Ordered and Waited 6! months for a New Tii 2002 in '74. Could NOT pass a Superbeetle due to crosswinds in San Bernadino mountains. Hell, It was all the thing could do to keep pace.
Still have the Ticket I received for trying :-)
As result, sold it weeks later. Excreable thing, 99% Brochure Babble.

Curiously, I read recently that Audi has yet to exceed it's '86 (?) Pre unintended acceleration debacle sales figures in North America.
Surprised by that claim.. wonder if it's even remotely accurate.
Seems strange to me as Audis are ubiquitous in my part of the world.
