When my 1991 9000T was totaled for me in July by my neighbor, I briefly looked at a few late-model 9000's in the Washington, DC area. While they were not complete rust-buckets, like you find further north, all the ones I saw looked really, really tired inside and out, and obviously hadn't been maintained properly for quite a while. I ended up buying a 2002 9-5 Aero that had a bad water pump, which I am in the process of fixing. I also have a 1999 9-5 SE, and the Aero is quite an improvement.
The last 9000 was made 15 years ago. The chances of finding one you are going to be happy with is pretty low.
