9000cs turbo runs rough Posted by Craig [Email] (#3854) [Profile/Gallery]

Here is what happens:
When the car is started for the first time in a day it runs OK throughout the speed range.
Stop the engine and start again and it is running rough regardless of speed. Shaking and noisy like it might be misfiring. It is also lacking in power at all speeds.
Put it in park then give the accelerator a real good rev around 3000rpm. A brief rev is enough and she is back to running OK again.
Drive as much as I like but if I stop the engine I'm back to rough running unless I do the rev trick or if I simply just let the car sit idle overnight.
I have replaced the fuel filter (because I had a spare in the garage), spark plugs (because they are cheap) and vacuum hoses (because they were all very badly split and pinched).
Other items on my list to look at are air filter, fuel pressure, DI module and O2 sensor (I get 6 flashes on the check engine).
Can anyone help me save some time and money and offer any advice?
