Hi idle problem - need vacuum line schematic

I am having a high idle issue that appears to be related to the intertwined vacuum and coolant hose layout on the tranny side of the engine. I am supecting that because when I pinch the check valve hose that leads to the intake the idle drops to normal. It is either that or the valve cover gasket is leaking. I checked the bolt torq on the VC and that was OK so I'm thinking the problem is in the hoses. Has anyone bumped into this before? Can someone post a vacuum hase schematic so that I can see what is going on in the hose within a hose contraption?
Thanks
JP
