This is the cap that goes on the front suspension lower control arm front bushing. There are two per side.

Yours will likely be broken. I suspect this is actually the source of the "give" in your suspension. Could also be your strut mounts, though. I had the same symptoms last month, and one of my bushing caps was broken. Replacing it fixed the symptoms. I couldn't see it was broken until I removed the lower control arm. When I did the front suspension 13 years ago, both bearing caps were broken on both sides, or maybe I was 3 for 4.

Replacing the front bushing itself is a bear. I see they are included in the eeuro kit (lower right in their photo). You have to either use a hydraulic press or fashion a press of sorts using a threaded rod and nuts, pipe and big washers. The threaded rod has to be skinny enough to go through the bushing, so the contraption ends up being not too strong. I remembered I bent the threaded rod, with all the force involved. When I got my front bushings out (car was 10 years old at the time), they actually looked pretty good, and I wasn't sure it was worth the effort.

I put in the SAS big sway bars, and 12 years later, my right rear sway bar mount suffered a fatigue fracture. I think if you're going to do the rear SAS bar, the mounts need reinforcement, but I don't know of anyone else who had that same outcome. I also live in a high salt area, so that may have contributed.

Summary: if I were doing this, I'd replace the rear bushings in the lower control arm, bearing end caps on the front bushing, ball joints, tie rod ends, poly sway bar bushings, and maybe renew the struts. And I second the PB Blaster recommendation. Start early with that stuff.
