Replace Shifter Procedure?

Anyone replace their entire shifter and can share procedure notes?
It looks like it will be fairly straight forward, but wondering how much of console between the seats (if any) you have to remove or any other tricky bits...
Any hints, tips or links to info very much appreciated!
Thanks!
