I do have at least one spare EDU - and sadly right now our days have all been hanging around 0 - 10F; far too chilly to get into dashboard work outdoors !!

As time allows I have been de-junkifying our small single stall, so maybe before the next rainy spell I can get the car in there with a little heater to keep able to work for a while on it.

Battery-wise I am extremely vigilant here in the north country, and that seems to be a non-problem (mostly due to having a terrific desulphator I suspect !!).

IGN switch. Wow, I'd not have thought of that as a common link either.

Given that I have a parts car - but that it is way out amongst the trees at a place that is a bit far away, I may be postponing much of this for a while now that all is cold & icy...but getting such pointers is still quite helpful.
