Same thing happened to my '93 Aero two years ago. Had 104,000 miles at that point. Car acted weird suddenly. Drove a mile home and parked. Tried to restart. Wouldn't. Pulled plugs, turned over, shot water out of cylinder on driver's side. Did headgasket job, (had never done one before). Problem solved. 10,000 miles since then. Word to the wise from my experience: Before setting the head back on the motor, put a bit of gasket sealer on the joints/seams where the timing cover intersects with the block and head or you WILL get a pesky oil leak there. Never saw it mentioned in any of the write-ups here when I was doing my research, but I can attest to the fact that putting sealer there WILL be something you'll be glad you did! (Ask me how I know). If you don't, and get a leak there, there is no way to re-seal it with the head in place. It will ALL have to come back apart again to fix it... Good Luck! Bob
