Oh, I forgot that your car is a few years newer than mine and may have the notorious stretchy head bolts! You might want to consider replacing them and evaluating before doing any more work, or possibly pulling one to see if they are the bad ones - Swedecar has pictures of them in his user profile. Or maybe just try retorquing what you do have?
If you do decide to do some work, one plastic guide that I would replace is the upper chain guide, which snaps/screws into the valve cover and costs only a few dollars.
