Source for cabin blower motor? Posted by JerseySaab [Email] |
The blower motor in my '97 CSE has stopped working. Although I have not yet had time to do a lot of troubleshooting, the rear door blowers work and are speed controlled by the ACC so it looks like the ACC and resistor pack are OK. (Tried a spare ACC just for grins with the same result.) Fuse is OK as well, so it seems likely to be the motor.
I installed a new Bosch motor about 6 years ago and at the time Eeuroparts carried the Bosch motor sans blades for about $50. Now all they list is a ProParts blower assembly at about $130 - I'd go for that but it takes 35-41 days to ship. NAPA lists one but it's over $200, manufacturer and availability not listed. None seem to be available at thesaabsite.com (Saab Parts). None at Rockauto, Autozone, or Advance Auto Parts.
Anyone know of a source that can get these at a reasonable price without having to wait over a month?
