The wee bit of trouble I've had with the Xenons included a p-o'd cop who claimed that the extra bright lights were 'substandard', so:
When my 1st (sort of experimental...) auxiliary light set lost a cheapie ballast to time & weather, I got the more normal colour temp bulbs which have been 100% fine ever since.

My Aero now has Xenons for high & low & as soon as the temp comes down a bit here I'll be re-installing my aux. lights...this time with a pair of multi-LED bumper mount ones with zero moving parts.

Back to the headlights finally - if I were to buy another set today I'd get those which are described thusly:
Zenex HID Conversion Kit 9006 4300K (OEM White)
