Please call them and ask them to explain it to you. I have also swapped out T5 ECUs without a Tech2 with no problems doing so (best was using teh same-year Aero ECU in a CSE for a few extra horsepower). I'm also interested in this and think that the price is great, especially when compared to replacing the known weak BPC valve.
