I actually did have the dash off...apologies for not mentioning, and yet...
I must have been missing something, (which would not be surprising!) as I really struggled with that third back screw due to limitations of the windshield defrost ducting in the way and every possible means of trying to remove it....
I removed the passenger side air ducting, along with the side window defrost ducting,
But here is where I could get nowhere: the passenger side windshield defrost ducting...stuck between the servo motor itself and a trellis structural element that connected to the firewall making it seem impossible to remove.
I could almost, turn and wrangle it out, but failed and failed, thus turning to see if the airbag removal would help...
I think the only way i was going to get the windshield defrost duct out making access to the third screw wide opne, would be to have removed the fascia dash as well, and remove the center distribution duct, ....Maybe that is required and I just failed by stopping where i did?
long story short the servo motor is working like a charm again, and im satisfied!
thanks and best
