This is a pic of the screw location-(red arrow) and the two easier to reach servo screws (yellow arrow)
-(note pic is after re-install and i left the screw OUT) -
that without a very flexible screwdriver, or carburetor driver I had a whale of a time removing. If I could have found a way to twist out the defrost ducting (what looks like a vacuum attachment for hardwood floors) This would have been easier...
...Now I am still troubleshooting intermittent on/off issues with my ACC unit itself at start-up. (Circling around the ACC relay under the hood (which bench tests fine, but in high heat baking in sun may act up? or the ACC unit itself...which I may try to open and see if there is any old worn solder joints going on?)
PS: have read in other places that some folks have just had TWO screws to remove the ACC servo... I wonder if maybe someone has already been in there and, like me, left the third screw off after refitting?
best to all.
Michael
