After tearing into the motor not finding anything out of the ordinary, the only thing I did notice is that that rubber piece on the valve cover was able to slide back and forth probably 3 or 4 mm. Was that the noise I don't really think it was.because that has been that way for the last thirty thousand miles since I put it in and it never made a noise before. I think it's the intake manifold gasket cuz that one bolt was loose and it could have been leaking and sounded like a diesel. I put it all back together and that noise was completely gone.I had to do the head gasket anyway it had about 30,000 miles on it and the people on saabnet said you're only going to get about 30 or 40 thousand miles out of a head gasket with around 400 horsepower. It had started leaking probably two or three thousand miles ago.I was going to go ahead and change all of the bearings but the bearings did not seem worn enough to change all of them. At least it's back up and running.I did decide to go ahead and put a new motor mount in I had one on the shelf.I did go ahead and make a solid motor mount though I may put that in when I take it to the track.
