Bad grounds, bad solder joints Posted by JerseySaab [Email] (#666) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JerseySaab) on Thu, 21 May 2020 21:42:55 In Reply to: Re: Spray some starting fluid in the intake, Keith95Aero, Thu, 21 May 2020 18:56:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Since you're apparently getting fuel the crank sensor seems likely.
Even when they were still late model these cars had a reputation for electrical glitches. I've had my share. In each case it was due to bad grounds or bad solder joints. Reflowing solder joints inside relays and on circuit boards fixed a lot of problems from funky headlight operation to the EDU conking out at random.
Do you have access to a Tech2? Might provide some clues if the crank sensor doesn't fix the problem.
