Hi,
this is a part of one of timing & balance chain guides (part number 55557270). It regulates the oil flow into chains. Without the plug oil will flow unrestricted what lowers the oil pressure, like you observed. You will have to fix it. Unfortunately you have to take the guide off the engine to do it, so timing cover off, dismantle balance and timing chains, unscrew the guide and maneuver it off the engine. Plug must go into it's place in the guide. Inspect the guide carefully - new may be necessary if it's broken. Install the guide checking if the plug went to the proper hole in the engine block (I assume you lost it during the assembly).
The top side of the plug is visible on the picture below just next to one of steel bushes.
