Oh yeah anytime I've ever taken the water pump apart it's had new o-rings.and I clean everything up and make sure there's no debris in it I just wondered if anybody used anything to seal it up other than the o-ring.like I said the first time I had no problems the second time I did the exact same thing and over the last 15,000 miles it has slowly steeped out of the o-ring that goes into the block. And both times the motor was out of the car so I had plenty of room. The motor is also out of the car this time everything's super clean I guess I'll just cross my fingers.
