From the top with a flashlight you should be able to get the bolt out or the torx screw out and pull it straight up. There's two wires and a plug. It's by the shift linkage in the firewall they'll probably be hoses and everything in your way if you're looking from up top but you should be able to put an extension on something to get down there and get the bolts out or the torques screw out. But like I said if that plug is not plugged in or the wires are damaged in any way you won't have a speedometer either you may not have to take that out the wires may just be disconnected. Or cut. By now they are very fragile and tend to crack.if you don't have a lift it's fairly difficult to get to from the top side you'll need to remove all the things out of your way to access it most likely.
