I tied, or more properly stated, braced the broken clutch mounting bracket into the master brake cylinder bracket using a large thick steel washer against the clutch bracket and an alloy "cable tie" compression cylinder 3/4 inch in diameter with a six mm fastener and a nylon aircraft nut. I also found the clutch return spring to be broken so that was replaced as well. No welding or glue was involved with the brack "fix".
