When it comes to bleeding, everyone has ways that seem to work. I want to share a simple way that may not be clever but had some benefits. I have a 93 9000 CSE with TCS which may make things a bit different for you. I like the idea of reverse bleeding by tending to move crud up and away from the slave cylinder since that is a major undertaking to replace.
1) I opened the brake fluid reservoir and suck out the fluid in the clutch "section" with a small 25ml syringe and length of tubing. I. This to begin getting rid of the old fluid from the get go.
2) I cracked open the bleeder nipple and attached a few feet of tubing connected to a much larger syringe (60 ml). A 100 ml syringe would have been better but I used what I had.
3) I filled the syringe with brake fluid and pushed it up keeping an eye on the clutch section of the reservoir. I pushed on the syringe until the fluid in the clutch section rose to to top of its dividing wall but not above it. I did not want old clutch fluid to get into my brakes.
The clutch section on my car is probably only 20ml or so. So there was a lot of emptying the reservoir with the small syringe before I needed to fill the 60ml. I know, doesn't that seem tiny!
What became obvious what the stuff coming out of the system was black. Not dark brown but black. I just bought the car but will not understand why people skip things like this.
4) When the 60ml syringe was close to empty, I re-filled it. It took some care to keep air out the line to the bleeder nipper on the slave but I ended up dripping fluid from the syringe into the tube to fill it and then squeezing on the syringe when reconnecting. A helper would be nice but I managed to put 4 large syringes before I was happy with the color coming out of the reservoir. I don't think the system hold much more than 100 ml. I think it was a matter of getting sufficient dilution since some of the yucky stuff stayed in the MC (and perhaps SC) while bleeding.
5) Tighten the bleed nipple and put the reservoir cap and hopefully have a firm clutch again.
Good luck!
