Probably a sensor on one side or the other.

Even though the Tech 2 says "main circuit" ... I had this come on after hitting some road debris [thanks Illinois tollway truck carcass clean-up]. I tried the fuses, swapped relays, cleaned the sensors. After cleaning, the light would sometimes stay off for a few minutes, during which low speed stops feature ABS cycling in the pedal, even though on dry pavement.

The fix: a new sensor and wire on the right side.

Good luck. Hope for the left side - the sensor & wire for that side is much cheaper.
