The trick is removing the knee bolster first. After removing the two torx screws, use a very large flat tip screwdriver to pry it off. I found that I had to slightly twist while prying to get the clips to release. Once the knee bolster is off, remove the four bolts (10mm bolts) and the screw behind the SRS badge (pry it out). Now you’re ready to put that large screwdriver to use again. Looking straight at the airbag, screwdriver pointing upwards, on the left side, push it upwards and twist. The clip should pop out. Do the same for the right side. Then, pry out the top portion until you hear the clips release. Then you should be able to pull the airbag out. BTW, the front cover is part of the airbag it self, so don’t try to remove it (ask me how I know :-)). Thanks for all replies!
