Wiggle the ribbon in between the read out on the EDU and The circuit board of the EDU. That's what I have soldered in the past and you have to sautter every single one of them on both sides to make sure it has a good connection. It may fix it it may not it's worked 3 times for me. Once I fixed that it fixed the miles per gallon Lights that go side to side. Let us know how it goes.
