My (non-factual) guess is that the glass breakage FUNCTION was somehow misfiring all the times that it does that strange stuff.

I just came inside from testing it...and the driver's door lock switch is just as flaky as ever, BUT=> the central (un)locking did work, though re-locking took several tries, then it worked.
LED did what it should too.

The Aero went most of 24 hours with no craziness, so at this minute I'll refrain from digging into the under-dash & keep a close watch on it.

My best guess right now is that the glass breakage thingy had been permanently p/o'd & engaged which interfered with the connected stuff that is alarm related.

For right now I'll abide by "if it ain't broke - don't fix it".
