Thanks for your review of different brake pads, although my experience is different: I'm satisfied with Bosch pads, and the wear seems even so far. My 9000 Aero has a manual transmission, so it may not be comparable to your experience with an automatic. Next brake job I'll try EBC pads.

We have had a coupe of Audis and a BMW during the time that I have driven 9000s and yes, the braking system of more modern cars is quite improved - when I haven't driven one of the other cars for a while, I press the pedal much too hard the first couple of stops!
