Seems I went and busted my clock spring. I replaced the upper steering column bushing on my 1996 CSE, treating the clock spring with the greatest of care and now I have a horn that doesn't work and an SRS light.

When I installed the clock spring it seemed to turn about 5.8 turns, not 5, and 2.5 turns CCW from the CW stop had the pin at 9 o'clock so I had to go another 1/4 turn to bring it to 6 o'clock to install the steering wheel in the proper position.

I understand they are very rare - has anyone rebuilt one, found some kind of work-around?
