Hello,
First thing I would check is the little hose on the filler neck. Look thru the right rear wheel well and you should see a little hose looped and connected on both sides. I have seen it collapse and I have seen it break and then get clogged. Often this leads to vacuum or pressure in the tank. Being that you had it in the sun not running it sounds like pressure. But vacuum can collapse the tank and even damage the fuel pump. Good Luck, Bernie
