I recently upgraded to a 9-5 after owning five 9000s. I still have one 9000. You might like a 9-5 Aero. It feels very much like a 9000 inside but drives more nimble and a little more horsepower. It also looks less aged than the 9000. Parts are much more available since the 9-5 was based on a more widely produced platform (Opel?) and they were produced up to about 2009. If in doubt about your 9000s, you can always store as many parts as you can in the back of the car, throw a car cover over it, and possibly come back to it in the future if you still feel interested. Sometimes it’s good to take a break.
