Finally, after so much time with my Aero just sitting - my indie checked it out & did get it to misbehave.

Sadly the next step is head removal.
It is anyone's best guess how long it'll be 'till he has time for that work.

After months & months of waiting I am all worn out & it is looking to be the end of my Saabing days.

In order to remain mobile I reluctantly bought a cheap '08 Nissan Rogue.

Much to my surprise after putting loads of miles on it I've found it to be a great car.

It isn't a keeper because getting a replacement title for it & what it'd take to pass VT inspection is beyond my means, but if I can locate another like it with the updated CVT that will allow me to move forward.

In the months I've had it, my only real annoyance has been the eternal TPMS light - which I 'fixed' with a strip of black tape.
(TPMS is one of those federally mandated annoyances which I'd happily lobotomize if only I could...)

Frankly I confess to being amazed - I was of a mind that NOTHING could EVER replace a GENUINE Saab Aero for me, but this has shown me how mistaken I've been for many years.
