94 9000 engine cuts out

My 9000 cse suddenly started cutting out above 2k rpm and on acceleration. Crept home on back roads.. Won't do it until up to temp. Last year it did this and it was the DI. Replaced with a known good and new plugs and has been fine. 2 years ago it did this and it was the MAP.
Not a daily driver but I tend to drive it in the winter to spare my other vehicles from road salt. I'm going to try a NEW DI but my gut says it isn't. Anti lock and check engine light came on a couple times but went out. Any ideas appreciated
