How would I know what to look for on the back of the Speedo for the temp reading on the EDU for the outside air temp? I tried a new temp sender the thing out by the bumper, and I'm still getting a reading of about 25° cooler than actual outside air temperature. It always worked before. But I have had the EDU and the full speedo out multiple times over the 6 years that I've owned the car to repair the EDU ribbon that goes to the main part of the Speedo to keep the EDU from turning off. With quite a bit of success I have repaired five of them now by reflowing that ribbon. But I can't tell if anything else is bad from looking at it but I guess I could pull it back out again and see if I can see anything I haven't pulled it out since the temp gauge did what it has done. So I guess maybe look for something that has exploded?
