Of course you have to be sure that you don't want more Posted by AdamB [Email] (#3) [Profile/Gallery] (more from AdamB) on Sun, 01 Oct 2000 04:43:11 In Reply to: Read the posts above, George D, Sat, 30 Sep 2000 20:04:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
power later, because then the money for the abbott LPT upgrade will be wasted. If you want more power it's best to get the APC and a suitable software first. And with higher boost levels you also need a sports exhaust, so the difference in cost between the basic abbott upgrade and a fullblown upgrade is pretty big.
Since I'm only after a minimal upgrade I don't need an APC or sports exhaust, thus the best upgrade for me is the abbott so far. When I also take into consideration that Abbott has a dealer less than 100 miles away, and I am getting some suspension bits too, there's no competition.
If you didn't want more power wouldn't you be satisfied with the upgrade? You said yourself that it drives very well. I understand that it's very irritating you can't use the software with an APC valve, but maybe you should've thought about that before you got it.
Regards
Adam
