Thanks for the comments, Ari. The switch is definitely bad. I tried the replacing trick and then the other seat failed. My seats heat up. In fact, I took apart my seat and repaired the severed line. So, now the seat heats up but does not appear to get very warm. That is why I think the switch is only working at one or two settings at best. Also, am getting continuity in the seat back but no heat. Or none too noticeable. Related? I will try the junkyards anyway. Good idea. Might just buy a few. :)
I guess my question remains. If there is no easy way to test the switch, how do I know the switch is the culprit? I guess replacing it is one way to know for sure. Just costly. Thanks.
