One is offered a lot of uninformed rumour and speculation about turbocharged engines by people with no experience of them and no engineering knowledge. The Saab turbo installation is a well-engineered system and is as robust as your 325i engine. If it had needed more cooling to prevent blown head gaskets, it would have it. If it had needed a bigger exhaust to keep the exhaust gas temperature down, it would have had that too.
The only problem I can foresee with that sort of driving behaviour is attracting the attention of the law. Then again, this will have been no less a problem with the Bee-Em.
