I was seven years old when parting my first moped, then MC,tractors and later on cars. I pretty much did everything on the driveway with some bent screwdrivers and monkeywrenches.( Yes, The Swede's invented the adjustable wrench) A couple of years ago I vent back to my parents farm and looked in to my old workshop. WAS THAT ALL THE TOOLS I USED FOR DOING WHAT?
Now after 10 years of being "professional" mech here in the States and a toolbox worth around $ 50.000 I would never wanna go back to the old days.
I get my share of cars that someone have tried to fix and remember the days when I use to break every possible thing trying to repair it.
The sad part is though, that most of the times, the car have been at another shop, not a owner trying to fix it.
I think this board is great for Saab owners, and tech's like me. It's always something new out there, or a different way of doing it.
Wrench along and have fun
Anders
