I would first suspect the alternator in that one of the diodes may be leaking current back when the car is off. I could be wrong but way abck when I had a 99 (car not year), I used to have this problem and a rebuilt alternator solved it. I think the newer ones are even easier to fix with the brushes and regulator all in a package that is exchangable on the alternator.
I find it hard to believe that the alarm could drain it so fast, as mine can sit for weeks with no ill effects.
Are you sure your trunk lights are going off when the boot is closed? and depending on where you park it you may be overlooking a stuck brakelight switch (Now that will kill a battery faster than you could imagine). C.
