I have located a MOOG inner tie rod that is referenced to fit my 1978 99 Turbo Rack. The application chart clearly states that this part fits any 99 made after 1974 (which make sense to me , fine vs course thread), however the chart also claims as follows:

SAAB 90 (1984 - 1987)
SAAB 900 (1978 - 1994)
SAAB 99 (1974 - 1984)

Below is a post from the 900 side of SAAB NET, which contradicts the MOOG application chart above.

I have been all over the web looking for inner tie rod kit and boot kit for my EMS manual rack from a 79 900 EMS.... anyone know where to get this stuff PLEASE let me know!!!! They are not the same as the power rack used in. the 99 ems rack looks similar… “

SO MY QUESTION

ANY ONE out there able to tell me whether the inner tie-rod used after 1974 in the 99, is the same as the inner tie-rod used in the 900 with power steering through 1994 ?
